Stockport Crematorium first opened its doors in 1936, and since then it has given Heaviley, Offerton, Davenport, Adswood, Great Moor and the rest of Stockport, the perfect place to have a high quality funeral. The crematorium has two chapels, the Cyprus Chapel and the Rowan Chapel, the latter of which was added in 2005. Situated within Stockport Cemetery, you can find the entrance on Buxton Road, over the road from Saint George's Church. The Gardens of Remembrance are beautifully maintained to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable before, during and after the service. There are many fragrant rose bushes and peaceful, secluded places, where you can spend time and reminisce on the good times you had with your loved one.
