Simplicity Cremations offer low cost funeral services, so you'll be able to stay within budget and still give your loved one a kind, respectful and dignified farewell at Houndwood Crematorium. We'll take care of the practicalities for you, so you can focus on personalising the service. We offer both attended and direct cremations at the former church site. Houndwood Church was built in the mid 1830s to accommodate the Grantshouse and Reston communities. After 175 years of service the B-Listed building was converted into Houndwood Crematorium, with the conservation and renovation work being completed by local tradespeople.
