We’ve visited The Mermaid Lounge in Horam twice now, and both times have been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel genuinely welcome – the staff are absolutely amazing, warm, attentive, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is truly top notch. Every dish has been outstanding, but the fish deserves a special mention – the smoked salmon was divine, and the fish goujons were quite simply some of the best we’ve ever had. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Honestly, it’s hard to pick a highlight because everything has been amazing. The décor is another big win – beautifully intimate, stylish, and completely in keeping with the Mermaid Lounge theme. It creates such a relaxed and cosy atmosphere that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. This is the kind of place that gets everything right: fantastic food, wonderful staff, and a welcoming, intimate setting. A real standout in Horam and one we can’t recommend highly enough.
