London is a great and wonderfully diverse city. It has everything from the history and traditions in places such as Buckingham Palace with the King's Guard soldiers in their famous beaver hats to the stalls, artists and entertainers on the South Bank. If you would like to see a view across the city, head to Horizon 22 in Bishopsgate. It is higher than other, more famous options, such as The Shard, and does not charge an entry fee.

Wow what an epic city London is. Far too large to squeeze everything into a short break so you will find yourself coming back again and again and finding something new and something old each time. Use the underground to get around but the open top bus is a great starting point to get your bearings. Avoid travelling at peak times and definitely take in a show in the West End.

I have lived in London my entire life, and here's a tip for visitors: The RV1 bus links Covent Garden with Tower Gateway, offering a budget-friendly way to see London's top attractions. TFL charges a maximum of £5.25 per day on your contactless card. Other great routes include the 11 (Liverpool Street to Fulham) and the 73 (Oxford Circus to Stoke Newington). Please don't bother with the tourist buses as they are overpriced and not authentic.

London is a consistenyl great city! My wife and I have spent a lot of time in London over the years for both work and pleasure and remain consistently impressed. The shopping and food is amazing - the nightlife too is really enjoyable!

London is one of the nicest cities I have ever been to. We stayed in a hotel just outside the heart of the city, but with the underground we were in the center in no time. It is a fantastic city for shopping, and you should not miss Harrods. The changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace is also a tip to go and see. I plan to go there again soon

We stayed 3 nights at Pembridge Palace Hotel near Hyde Park. Great hotel (European standards) and a good base to use the "hop-on-hop-off" tour buses to explore the city. Unfortunately all the attractions were closed on the day before Christmas (bad research on our part), but the tour buses were still running. We had good weather (which helped of course) and saw a lot of the city. Keep in mind that on Christmas Day everything is closed. Public transport is also not working. All in all we had a great time and it is definitely worth doing again.

I stayed for 2 nights in the Lidos hotel, right between 2 tube stations, namely Pimlico and Victoria. An excellent base and very central. In less than 15 minutes to Westminder, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. First day walked a lot and visited attractions and the 2nd day visited the remaining locations such as the Olympic Park, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus etc. Very beautiful city and definitely worth a visit just before Christmas where a visit to Winter Wonderland is an absolute must!
