Santas Grottos Midlands Map: where to find Santa this Christmas

After the success of our previous map showing the different Santa’s Grottos in London, we’ve created a follow on map, this time grouping some of Father Christmas’ Grottoes in the Midlands (including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Dudley, Stoke-on-Trent, Walsall, and Wolverhampton)  this winter 2017.
In the Midlands we noticed that there were quite a lot of farms that welcomed Santa this Christmas: ten amazing farms. This would be a great opportunity for kids to discover farm animals, pet them, as well as speak to Father Christmas in a truly magical environment.

About the map

On this map you will be able to find all information you need for the preparation of your journey. We put an address, fee, opening times, dates and a website on each pinpoint at your disposal. We have located many Grottos in and near Birmingham!

Disclaimer: Only Santa’s Grottoes accessible to the general public have been included. Schools' grottoes, as well as any privately-organized grottoes, will not figure on this map.

1. Santa Steam Severn Valley Railway

Address: Trains depart from Kidderminster, DY10 1QX and terminate in Arley, CV7 8FG
Dates: On the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th of December
Opening Times: Trains depart at 9.45, 10.15, 10.45, 11.15, 11.45, 12.15, 12.45, 13.15, 14.00, 14.30, 15.00, 15.30, 16.00.
Fees: Prices start at £14.50
More Information: This is truly an unforgettable experience. Jump on a steam train, and travel across the country side and get to meet Father Christmas in his specially made Grotto. Why not enjoy the sunset on the 15.30 and 16.00 trains as well as the Christmas lights in the stations?

2. Santa Aschreindeer in Warton

More Information: Have your children ever wondered how Santa’s sledge was travelling? Discover the reindeers themselves at the Willows farm! Your children will get to pet them, and they will for sure remember this year’s Grotto.

3. Knowsley Safari Park

Dates: From the 13th of December, from Wednesday to Sunday until the 25th of December Opening Times: From 9.30 to 16.30

More Information: Who said you can’t mix safari and winter cold? Not Knowsley’s Safari Park for sure! Can discover giraffes, lions, rhinos and in bonus? Father Christmas will be waiting for you in his Grotto! 

4. Wollaton Hall

Dates: Fridays to Saturdays until the 23rd of December
Opening Times: Different sessions from 11.00 to 14.30

More Information: How about enjoying a nice walk in a beautiful venue like the Wollaton Hall? This spectacular Elizabethan 1580s country house will welcome Santa this winter, and this would be a great opportunity to visit Nottingham’s Natural History Museum by the same token.

5. Dudley Canal Christmas Boat Trip
